It was taken on the interstate just outs of Decatur (Which is the city adjacent to Hartselle) after crossing the Tennessee River, which is what you see there.
That's a cool photo! Where was this taken? In meteorological terms, it actually appears to be a "roll" cloud. It seems to be detached form the parent storm. These clouds are normally on the advancing edge of a squall line, or large thunderstorms gust front. You usually get high winds associated with them as they pass overhead. Wall clouds are usually associated with tornadic supercellular storms. It's still a very impressive photo! I love it!
